Indulge in baked fish paired with a refreshing lemon cream sauce for a zesty flavor experience

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 white fish fillets (such as cod, tilapia, or halibut)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional, for a hint of color)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  • Pat the fish fillets dry with paper towels. Drizzle with olive oil, and season both sides with salt, black pepper, and paprika if using. Place them snugly in the prepared baking dish.
  • In a saucepan, heat olive oil over a medium flame. Add minced garlic, sautéing till fragrant — about 30 seconds. Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Let it simmer until it thickens slightly, around 3-5 minutes.
  • Pour the lemon cream sauce over the seasoned fish fillets. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  • Upon removing from the oven, sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley. Serve warm with your favorite side.

Notes

Aromatic, comforting baked fish paired with a silky lemon cream sauce, perfect for any gathering or holiday menu.
