  • 3-4 pounds Pork Shoulder (Boston Butt)
  • 12-16 Slider Buns
  • 1-2 cups BBQ Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dry Rub
  • ¼ cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Yellow Mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar, packed
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika (smoked paprika is even better!)
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Onion Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Combine dry rub ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Rub the dry rub all over the pork shoulder.
  • Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker, smoker, or oven.
  • Add apple cider vinegar and yellow mustard to the cooking vessel.
  • Cook on low heat until the pork is easily shredded with a fork (internal temperature of 203°F/95°C).
  • Let the pork rest for at least 30 minutes before pulling it.
  • Shred the pork and mix with BBQ sauce.
  • Assemble the sliders by placing the pulled pork on slider buns.
  • Serve and enjoy!
