  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 3/4 cups packed brown sugar

  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a larger bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth and creamy. Stir in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet, mixing gently until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Use a cookie scoop to portion dough onto the prepared sheet, keeping them a couple of inches apart to allow for spreading.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown but the centers remain soft.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
