  • 1 cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Cloves
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, oil, and vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached.
  • Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
