- 1 cup (220g), packed Brown Sugar
- 1 cup (225g), softened Unsalted Butter
- 2 large Eggs
- 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- ½ teaspoon Almond Extract
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- Powdered Sugar, for dusting
- Christmas Sprinkles, for decoration (optional)
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract and almond extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for best results).
- Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
