Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.

  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
  • Sprinkle generously with festive sprinkles, gently pressing them into the dough.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let the bars cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
