  • 3-4 large turkey wings (about 2-2.5 pounds total)
  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, orange zest, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened slightly.
  • Season turkey wings with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the turkey wings on all sides.
  • Pour the cranberry glaze over the turkey wings in the skillet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-60 minutes, or until the turkey wings are cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste with the glaze every 15 minutes during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  • Let the turkey wings rest for 10-15 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh cranberries and orange slices, if desired.
