Instructions

  • Cream the Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the Egg and Extracts: Beat in the egg, almond extract, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually Add Dry Ingredients to Wet Ingredients: Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Chill the Dough: Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
