Discover a simple way to create mouthwatering brownie truffles that everyone will love

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box of high-quality brownie mix
  • 1 egg
  • 115 grams of unsalted butter
  • 120 ml of heavy cream
  • 200 grams of dark chocolate chips
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Optional: crushed nuts, sprinkles, white chocolate drizzles

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on your brownie mix box. Grease a baking pan and line it with parchment paper for easy removal. Mix the brownie batter according to the package instructions, pour it into the prepared pan, and bake. Allow it to cool completely before proceeding.
  • Once cooled, crumble the brownies into a large mixing bowl. The texture should be fine and crumbly.
  • Using your hands, roll the brownie mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Chill them in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set.
  • In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer. Remove from the heat and pour over the chocolate chips in a separate bowl. Let it sit for a couple of minutes to melt, then whisk until smooth and shiny.
  • Dip each chilled truffle into the ganache, ensuring even coverage. Place them back on the parchment-lined tray. Optionally, sprinkle with sea salt or garnish while the coating is still wet. Chill again for 15-20 minutes until the ganache is firm.
