  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  • 1/2 cup other mix-ins (optional)

Instructions

  • Line an 8×8 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on two sides.
  • In a large, microwave-safe bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the mixture is completely melted and smooth.
  • Remove the bowl from the microwave and stir in the vanilla extract and any desired mix-ins.
  • Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
  • Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is firm.
  • Once the fudge is firm, lift it out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut the fudge into squares and serve.
