Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  • Add green food coloring to the dough until desired shade is reached.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Using a cookie scoop, drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly with the back of a spoon.
  • Decorate with sprinkles and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
