  • 1 teaspoon instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm water (105-115°F/40-46°C)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons Italian herbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine gluten-free flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar.
  • Add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  • Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm, draft-free place for 30 minutes.
  • Lightly flour your hands and work surface. Gently shape the dough into a rectangle and cut it into 12 equal strips.
  • Place the breadsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, combine minced garlic and 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  • Brush the garlic oil over the breadsticks and sprinkle with Italian herbs and mozzarella cheese (if using).
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
