  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2-3 packages of Jello (any flavor)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until just incorporated.
  • Separate the dough into equal portions, one for each Jello flavor you choose to use.
  • Work the Jello into the dough by kneading until the color and flavor are evenly distributed.
  • Roll the dough into 1-inch balls, placing them two inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake for 8-10 minutes until the edges start to set but aren’t browned. Let them cool on a wire rack.
