Easy peanut butter balls recipe Delicious nobake dessert

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 oz chocolate chips (milk, dark, or semi-sweet)
  • Optional Toppings: Sprinkles, chopped nuts, sea salt, or a drizzle of melted white chocolate

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and peanut butter until smooth. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined. The mixture will be thick.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This will make the dough easier to handle.
  • Roll the dough into 1-inch balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • In a double boiler or microwave, melt the chocolate chips until smooth. If using a microwave, heat in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, to prevent burning.
  • Dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, using a fork or dipping tools to coat completely. Place the dipped balls back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle with your favorite toppings, such as sprinkles, chopped nuts, or sea salt, while the chocolate is still wet.
  • Refrigerate the Peanut Butter Balls for at least 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set completely.
  • Once the chocolate is firm, your Peanut Butter Balls are ready to serve!
