1 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 tablespoons green tea powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Green food coloring (optional)
Matcha powder, for dusting
Instructions
In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it just begins to simmer.
Remove the cream from the heat and add the white chocolate chips, butter, green tea powder, vanilla extract, and salt. Let it sit for a minute to allow the chocolate to soften.
Stir the mixture with a whisk until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth and well combined.
If you prefer a more intense green color, add a few drops of green food coloring and stir until desired color is reached.
Pour the mixture into a shallow dish or bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
Once the mixture is chilled and set, use a small cookie scoop or a spoon to scoop out small portions and roll them into balls.
Roll the truffles in matcha powder until evenly coated.
Store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
