Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.
  • Mix the dry ingredients. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  • Cream the butter and sugar. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy using an electric mixer.
  • Incorporate the egg and vanilla. Add the egg and vanilla extract; beat until fully combined.
  • Add the strawberry goodness. Stir in the strawberry jam and gently fold in the diced strawberries.
  • Combine and form the dough. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  • Scoop and bake. Using a tablespoon, scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake the cookies. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are set and lightly golden.
  • Finish with a kiss. Remove cookies from the oven and press a chocolate kiss into the center of each while warm.
  • Cool and savor. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
