Instructions

  • Brown the butter and let it cool.
  • Cream together the browned butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  • Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are still slightly soft.
